Drool 3

This is the Buick Invicta. Though technically a "concept" car, it previews the next Buick LaCrosse, due in 2010.

How close to production is it? I gauge the fact that the wheels aren't out of proportion and they put realistic mirrors on it. Typical concept cars have tiny mirrors and massive wheels. And before Buick released the hot-selling Enclave, the "concept" version was just as thinly veiled.

Another huge clue is this spy pic of the production mule being tested. The interior is very close to this shot of the concept. Note the steering wheel, the flow of the center console, and instrument panel are all exactly the same.

If GM keeps this up, they will have a very good future.
