Yeah, Right

Here's a vintage Ford Motor Company commercial comparing the 1958 Lincoln to it's main rival, Cadillac. From the days when car makers had no problem openly bashing each other. Hysterical, considering how ugly the Lincoln is.

Hah! This commercial is a riot!!

Actually, considering that the '58 model year was Ford's debut of the Edsel . . . well, let's just say they were not exactly in the best position to be ragging on other cars' styling. (What was that old saying about people in glass houses?)

Not surprising from a company being brilliantly micromanaged by Bob McNamara. Before he moved on to micromanaging bigger and better things, of course. Like the Vietnam War.
